The challenge in the present petition is to the impugned order dated 02.01.2021 whereby the petitioner has been declared ineligible for recruitment to the post of Lecturer (Physics). The rejection was on the ground that on the date when the C.G Professional Examination Board published the result of the examination conducted by them for appointment to the aforementioned post the petitioner had not cleared B.Ed course thus, he was ineligible on the said date for appointment.

Perusal of Annexure-P/2 i.e. mark sheet of the B. Ed. Second Year of the petitioner would show that the results were published/issued on 12.11.2020 i.e. almost more than a year after the C.G. Professional Examination Board had declared the results i.e. on 30.09.2019. From the aforesaid documents enclosed along with the Writ Petition itself it is evidently clear when the Board had published the results on 30.09.2019, the petitioner had not cleared his B. Ed. Course and which he has cleared only in 12.11.2020. Further that the academic session in which he has cleared the B.Ed. Course itself is that of 2019-20 which establishes the fact, that the date when the board had declared the results. The petitioner was not qualified. 3.

In view of the same the impugned order Annexure-P/3 does not warrant any interference and the writ petition deserves to be and is accordingly rejected. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge yasmin
