1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner was appointed by the State Bureau of Investigation (Economic Offence Wing) which is part and parcel of the Police Department. It is stated that the petitioner though is entitled for the similar benefits as of the General Police Administration, the salary and pay scale are not being granted to the petitioner by taking a refuge to the fact on the ground that the petitioner belong to State Bureau of Investigation (economic Offences) which is

completely against the notification dated 01.11.2000. He further submits that the notification dated 01.11.2000 purport that the State Bureau of Investigation (Economic Offences Wing) shall be part of the General Police Administration. The relevant part of notification dated 01.11.2000 reads as under:- (i) That the State Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offences Chhattisgarh, Police Station shall be a part of the "General Police District" and all it's executive and ministrial Officers and men shall be Police Officers of equivalent rank and denomination.

In view of the said fact, the petitioner would submit that the petitioner though is entitled for all service benefits which include the payment of time bound pay scale, increment, promotion etc they are not being considered and prays that the petitioner may be given liberty to make a representation with a copy of the notification dated 01.10.2000 to the Respondents No. 3 & 4 so that his grievance may be considered.

4. Having perused the notification in the light of the prayer made, the petitioner is given liberty to make a fresh representation within 4 weeks and shall attach the copy of notification dated 01.11.2000; if such representation is filed, the same shall be decided within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
