The applicant is seeking restoration of Writ Petition(C) No. 1395 of 2008 which was dismissed by this Court for want of prosecution vide order dated 29.01.2018.

On due consideration of the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant and the grounds taken in the restoration petition, I am satisfied that the absence of the applicant's counsel on 29.01.2018, when the Writ Petition(C) No. 1395 of 2008 was taken up for hearing, was based on bonafide grounds.
