Judgment on Board Per Navin Sinha, Chief Justice 22/03/2016 1.

The present appeal arises from order dated 27.1.2016 dismissing Writ Petition (C) No. 217 of 2016. To the extent that the Learned Single Judge has opined that the writ petition was not maintainable as a notice for hearing only had been issued to the Appellant, we find no infirmity in the order under appeal calling for interference.

If the Appellant is of the opinion that the order of this Court in Writ Petition (C) No. 3241 of 2011 (Smt. Neelima Belsaria v. State of Chhattisgarh) is the basis for invocation of the review jurisdiction by Respondent No. 2 and that order itself is subjudice in Writ Appeal No. 293 of 2015 (Smt. Neelima Belsaria v. State of Chhattisgarh) before this Court, it is open for the Appellant to invite the attention of the authorities to the same.

A quasi judicial authority exercising statutory powers is also expected to act in accordance with judicial discipline and propriety. 4.
