Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that petitioner's application for extension of maternity leave is pending consideration before respondent No. 3 - The Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Mahasamund since 23.01.2018 that may be directed to be considered and dispose of expeditiously.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed. 4.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2- Director, Directorate Of Health Service, Raipur is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for grant of extension of maternity leave strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
