(2) In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the order dated 10.11.2014 (Annexure P/1) and the consequential order passed by the Central University on 11.11.2014 (Annexure P/2), whereby, the petitioner has been removed from the post of ofÏciating Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur and respondent No.4 has been made ofÏciating Vice Chancellor. (3) It is common ground that during pendency of this writ petition, regular Vice Chancellor has already been appointed in the said University.

(4) In view of the above, the cause of action does not survive for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
