1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that of non-granting of the second higher pay scale on completion of 16 years of service.

2. According to the petitioner, he has got the first higher pay scale on completion of 8 years of service in the year of 2012 as contended by the petitioner. Though, State Counsel submits that from the record, it appears that aforesaid first higher pay scale has been given to the petitioner in the year 2014.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition stands disposed off directing the respondent authority to consider the claim of the petitioner for the second higher pay scale on completion of 16 years of service in accordance with the rules, regulations and circulars issued by the State Government from time to time. Let a

decision in this regard be taken subject to verification of the facts at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
