Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that second appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 is pending consideration before the State Information Commission since 09.02.2017 and has not been decided till date, therefore, directions may be issued to the respondent authority to consider and decide the same expeditiously.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 1 is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
