1. The petitioner's application for grant of

parole dated 15.03.2019 has not been decided yet.

2. Mr. Siddiqui, learned State Counsel would submit that the concerned District Magistrate, Raipur (C.G.) would consider the matter within 07 days in light of the decision rendered by this Court in the matter of Rakesh Shende v. State of Chhattisgarh (in WPCR No. 29 of 2016, decided on 18.11.2016).

3. In view of his submission, the application dated 15.03.2019 will be considered preferably within 7 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the writ petition stands disposed off.
