The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 438 of CrPC, as he is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.04/2020, registered at Police Station Mahila Thana, District Durg (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of IPC.

The applicant was married with the complainant on 27.04.2018. They stayed together for about 7 months, but their relations got strained and her father brought her back to her parental house. It is said that the applicant's parents misbehaved with herself and her father.

Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail. 4.

Considering the material available in the case diary, this Court is inclined to extend benefit of anticipatory bail to the applicant. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicant, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer with the following conditions:- (i) he shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required.

(ii) he shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer.
