Heard learned counsel for the parties.
1. Petitioners are Sweeper in the Department of Veterinary Services. They have preferred this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to grant them the pay scale of Rs. 2500-3200/-.
2. According to learned counsel for the petitioners similarly situated Sweepers namely Panchram Mourya, Sridhar Goel, Madhuram, Nagendra Singh Dhakar and Satyawan amongst others have been paid the above said pay scale however, it appears, by clerical mistake petitioners name have been left out while the said pay scale was granted to others.
3. Considering the controversy involved in this writ petition this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with direction that if the petitioners submits fresh representation within a period of 15 days from today the competent authority shall decide the said representation on merits, by speaking order, in accordance with law, within further period of three months. The authority shall specifically deal with the ground raised by the petitioners that the similarly situated Sweepers have been granted benefit of pay scale of Rs.2500-3200/-.
