1. Learned counsel for the State, referring to the averments made in the return, submitted that towards final payment of amount payable to the petitioner under Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS), on-line proceedings in the website of NSDL (National Security Deposit Limited) has been done vide letter dated 7.11.2017 and the amount is likely to be paid to the petitioner within 3 months.

2. Considering the relief sought in the petition and the steps taken by the respondents, this petition at this stage is disposed off. However, in case the

-2petitioner does not receive the amount before 15.2.2018, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the petition.
