Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the State Government may be directed to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner pending before it.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. 3.

It is for the State Government to take a decision on the

representation of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within as period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. However, it is made clear that this Court has not passed any direction for seniority of the petitioner. The State Government will pass the order on its own merit and in accordance with law. No order as to cost(s). 5.
