Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 23.10.2017 Heard.

1. While challenging to the legality and validity of order dated 22.02.2014 passed by the disciplinary authority, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the order impugned, the petitioner has filed a review petition as provided under Rule 29 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966 on 20.03.2014 which has been duly forwarded by the Assistant Director to the Director vide memo dated 24.03.2014. The petitioner had to approach the Court as the review petition has remained undecided till date.

2. Without commenting upon the merits of the case and the legality and validity of the order Annexure P/1, in view of the prayer made by the petitioner that for the present, this petition may be disposed off with the direction for decision on petitioner's review petition on its own merit, I am not inclined to keep the matter pending but to dispose off the petition with such direction to consider the petitioner's review petition by respondent No.2/Director within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. The petition is accordingly disposed off.
