1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the application for mutation belonging to the petitioner pending before the Respondent No. 2 at the earliest.

2. Considering the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition can be disposed off directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the application for mutation of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably

-2within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

With the aforesaid direction, the present Writ Petition stands disposed-off.
