The challenge in the present writ petition is to the declaring of the petitioner as ineligible candidate for appointment to the post of Teacher (Mathematics) on the ground that petitioner is not graduate but he is B.E. degree holder.

The issue raised in the present writ petition has been considered and decided by this Court recently in a bunch of writ petitions, leading being WPS No. 3789/2019 decided on 17.11.2020 whereby this Court has allowed the writ petitions holding that the petitioners therein have to be treated as graduates and cannot be denied participation from the recruitment process subject to their fulfilling all other requisite eligibility criteria. 3.

In view of the same, the present writ petition also deserves to be and is

accordingly allowed in terms of the order passed by this Court in WPS No. 3789/2019 and other connected writ petitions decided on 17.11.2020 and the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner herein also from the stage the petitioner was declared ineligible. Subject to the petitioner meeting all other requisite eligibility criteria, the case of the petitioner also be considered and an appropriate decision be taken so far as the appointment is concerned along with other candidates who have been declared eligible.
