Sam Koshy Order On Board 14/03/2018 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents for grant of pension which she is otherwise entitled from 09.12.1998 i.e. the date on which her husband died in harness serving the respondents.

Counsel for respondent no.1 i.e. the office from where the pensionary benefits have to be released, on instruction, makes a submission that the case of the petitioner is already under process and it has been sent to the headquarter of respondent no.1 at Dhanbad (Jharkhand). 3.

Given the aforesaid submission made by the counsel for respondent no.1, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending and the writ petition stands disposed of with a

direction to respondent no.1 to process the case of the petitioner and settle her claim as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 90 days from today.

The writ petition thus stands disposed of.
