This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents to decide the issue of caste status of one Arjun. 3.
It appears that one Arjun has lodged a report in the Police Station against the petitioner and the petitioner says that Arjun is proceeding to prosecute the petitioner under the provisions of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. 4.
There is no material on record to show, not even an averment that any offence against the petitioner has been registered in any Police Station. 5.
If any offence is registered against the petitioner, it may be open for the petitioner to defend himself in the manner which is permissible under the law.

At this stage, no direction can be issued to the authorities to hold an enquiry at the instance of the petitioner.
