The applicants have been arrested in connection with Crime No.555/2017 registered at Police Station - Kotwali, District - Sarguja (CG) for alleged commission of offences under Section 380, 34 of IPC.

Case of the prosecution is that the applicants snatched golden chain from the neck of the complainant in a temple.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that they have been arrested only on suspicion and no golden chain was recovered from them. It is further submitted that they are not habitual offenders and no other criminal case has been registered against them. Therefore, the applicant may be granted bail. 4.
On the other hand, learned State counsel opposes bail application and submits that involvement of the applicants is based on certain CCTV footage in which the
applicants are seen snatching the chain.

Taking into consideration the submission of learned counsel for the parties, particularly that investigation is complete, charge sheet has been filed and that the applicants do not have similar antecedent of commission of offence and also that they are ladies, I am inclined to grant bail to the applicants. 6.
Accordingly, the application is allowed. It is directed that the applicants shall be released on bail on each of them furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- along with one local surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. They shall appear before the Trial Court regularly on each and every date, unless exempted from appearance.
