1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that land has been acquired and compensation has been determined, but it is not being paid.

3. Learned State counsel, on advance copy and on instructions, would submit that the land is recorded in the name of seven persons jointly and if all the seven persons apply jointly or through an authorised person amongst one of them, then the amount can be disbursed

within no time.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner i.e. the owners of the land are at liberty to approach the authorities either jointly or through an authorised person amongst one of them and respondent No.2 Collector would do the needful and disburse the compensation expeditiously.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
