1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed application for extension of route on 02.06.2014 and since then, application has remained pending without any decision. It is submitted that the permit of the petitioner has been renewed from time to time and is valid upto 25.1.2019. He submits that in these circumstances, direction may be issued for expeditious disposal.

2. Learned State counsel submits that if any such application is pending, the same shall be decided as early as possible.

3. Taking into consideration the statutory period provided under the Motor Vehicles Act, it is directed that the petitioner's application shall be decided one way or the other in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of the

order.
