This is second application for grant of regular bail. Earlier application was rejected by this Court on 21.04.2015 upon consideration of the merits of the case.

Present application has been filed for grant of bail only on the ground of delay in completion of trial.

This Court earlier rejected the application on merit. It being a case of alleged commission of offence under Section 302 and other Sections of IPC as also under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989. Therefore, looking to the period of detention and the gravity of offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the applicant only on the ground of delay. However, the Trial Court shall make all endevour to conclude the trial as early as possible.

The bail application is rejected.
