The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.59/2017 registered at Police Station - Narayanpur, District - Jashpur (CG) for alleged commission of offences under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 201-B of IPC. 2.

Case of the prosecution is that the applicant collected more than Rs.5 lakhs from different persons on the assurance that they would get selected to represent the State to play Ranji Trophy Matches.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the allegations are false amd fabricated and in a dispute arising of claim of money, false report has been lodged. It is submitted that investigation is complete, charge sheet has been filed, the applicant is not likely to abscond or tamper with the prosecution witnesses. Therefore, the applicant may be granted bail.

On the other hand, learned State counsel opposes bail application and submits that the applicant collected about Rs.5,14,000/- which has been clearly stated by the complainant. Therefore, prima facie case is made out.

Taking into consideration the submission of learned counsel for the parties, particularly the amount alleged to be involved, investigation is complete, charge sheet has been filed, the applicant is not likely to abscond or tamper with the prosecution witnesses, I am inclined to grant bail to the applicant. 6.

Accordingly, the application is allowed. It is directed that the applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- along with two local sureties for the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. He shall appear before the Trial Court regularly on each and every date, unless exempted from appearance.
