(2) The petitioner is seeking quashment of compassionate appointment order dated 29.10.2001 (Annexure P/1), which has given to respondent No.5-Agarsaye brother of petitioner on the ground that respondent No.5 is not supporting the family of the deceased-SECL servant.
(3) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner on 21.03.2016 whereas compassionate appointment was granted on 29.10.2001 and there is delay of 15 years in filing the present writ petition, which has not been explained by the petitioner properly and, as such, the instant writ petition deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed on the ground of delay and laches in filing the writ petition.
