The present application has been preferred seeking restoration of Writ Petition(S) No. 550 of 2009 which was dismissed on 22.02.2016. 2.

However, on perusal of the order dated 22.02.2016 would clearly reflect that the Writ Court while hearing the matter has already considered the merits of the case and the dismissed the case on merits. Even otherwise, the order dated 22.02.2016 nowhere states that the Writ Petition has been dismissed for want of prosecution.

In the opinion of this Court the Application for restoration is not maintainable and the M.C.C. is accordingly dismissed. 4.

No order as to costs.
