1. This writ petition has been preferred seeking a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner, challenging his suspension vide order dated 13-5-2014.

2. Learned State counsel would submit that if the appeal is duly constituted and has not yet been decided, the concerned authority shall be informed for deciding the same, in accordance with law.

3. For the foregoing, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide petitioner's appeal, if not yet decided, as early as

possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
