Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that petitioner's father was working as Shiksha Karmi Grade - III who died in harness on 24.11.2015 and, therefore, the petitioner has made a representation before respondent authorities for grant of compassionate appointment which is pending consideration since 25.07.2017 and has not been considered and decided till date.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 3 is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for grant of compassionate appointment expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
