Both these bail applications are decided by this common order as they are arising out of the same crime number. 2.

The applicants have preferred these applications for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.102/2020 registered in Police Station Kukdur, District-Kabirdham (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 20(b) of Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

As per the prosecution case, on 18/09/2020 on a car being intercepted bearing registration number JH 10 R 4048 from it 15.400 kg

cannabis were recovered wherein all the applicants were occupants. 4.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that cannabis were not recovered in person and three persons have been inculpated and recovery have already been made, no further investigation is necessary, they are in jail since 19/09/2020, therefore the applicants may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 6.

Considering the quantity of cannabis seized and number of persons from whom cannabis was recovered, applicants are in jail since 19/09/2020, charge sheet has been filed, therefore this court is inclined to release the applicants on bail.

Accordingly, both the bail applications are allowed and it is directed that the applicants shall be released on each of them furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for their regular appearance before it as and when directed.
