With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.

This writ petition is preferred seeking re-appointment as Assistant Teacher.

From the pleadings and documents, it would appear that the petitioner was appointed on the post of Assistant Teacher in the year 1985 for a
period of 6 months and was reappointed in the year 1986, however, the said appointment was not continued and as such, the petitioner ceased to remain in employment after 1986. The petitioner had preferred a writ petition being W.P. (S) No.228/2015, which was dismissed as withdrawn on 27.01.2015 with liberty to pursue his representation.

In view of the withdrawal of the writ petition, as also on the ground of delay and latches, the present writ petition is not maintainable. 5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
