The limited grievance ventilated through this petition is that though the petitioner has submitted an application for review in terms of provision contained in Rule 29 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1966 (as adopted by the respondents), the same has remained pending since last more than one year.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, considering the nature of grievance, I am inclined to dispose off the matter, at this stage, with a direction to respondent No.2 to take appropriate decision in accordance with law by speaking order on petitioner's review within an outer limit of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
