Learned Additional Advocate General for the State submits that the Petitioners were never reverted. The error in wrongly promoting them was only corrected when it was cancelled.

The writ petition asserts that reversion was unjustified in law and it was done in violation of the principles of natural justice. The Respondents contend in the impugned order that the Petitioners were wrongly promoted despite ineligibility due to lack of seniority. There is no challenge to the ground mentioned in the impugned order regarding lack of seniority.
