Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he is entitled to be promoted on the post of Lecturer (Panchayat) but he has been denied the promotion on the ground that he does not possess eligibility criteria and the Post Graduation degree obtained by him is not duly recognized for which the petitioner has also made representation before the respondent No.2 on 27.07.2016 which is pending consideration since then and the respondent No.2 is not granting promotion to the petitioner on the said post. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider and

dispose of the petitioner's representation for the post of Lecturer (Panchayat) expeditiously preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with additional representation, if any. The petitioner may also submit a representation convincing the authorities that the degree obtained by him for promotion is duly recognized. 4.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. 6.

No order as to cost(s).
