The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 293/2019 registered in Police Station Nandghat, Distt. Bemetara C.G. for offence punishable under sections 342, 354/34 of IPC and section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

As per the prosecution case, on 12/10/2019 the prosecutrix who was minor while she was returning home, the applicant stopped her and caught hold of her hand, thereby tried to outrage her modesty, therefore offence has been committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 13/10/2019, charge sheet has been filed, no further investigation is necessary, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the argument.

Considering the fact charge sheet has been filed and nature of allegation, applicant is in jail since 13/10/2019, this court is inclined to

release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
