Learned Counsel for the State submits that he has received written instructions by letter No. D-647 dated 21.4.2016 that the Departmental Promotion Committee had met on 8.4.2016. The Petitioner was at serial No. 14 for consideration. The outcome is awaited.

We are not satisfied to proceed further in the contempt jurisdiction. Learned Counsel for the State may submit a xerox copy of the letter dated 21.4.2016 which shall be kept on file.
