The petitioner has filed this contempt petition alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 22-09-2017 in WPS No. 4899/17.

It appears that the Tahsildar has sought instruction from the Collector towards implementation of the Court's order. When there is an order of the Court directing Tahsildar to undertake the exercise of verification, Tahsildar need not seek instruction for compliance of judicial order. It is the duty to undertake the exercise as directed by the Court. 3.

Before initiating the contempt proceeding, one last opportunity is given to Tahsildar, Manpur to relieve the petitioner, failing which appropriate proceeding would be taken against him. A copy of this order be produced before Tahsildar, Manpur for taking necessary action forthwith. 4.
