Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for appropriate direction to Respondents to release family pension amount payable to her which was otherwise being paid to her but was withheld since August, 2020.

The dispute seems to be the Authority who shall release the pension to Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner today has brought on record a Correspondence made on 6.9.2021 by the Office of the Account General to the State Treasury Department to ensure that the family pension is released to Petitioner.

Given the said Correspondence issued from the office of the Accountant General i.e. Respondent No.1 herein, nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents No.2 & 3 to ensure that necessary compliance is done on the aspect of release of family pension to Petitioner, which shall also include the compliance of release of family pension withheld since August, 2020, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
