1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father has died on 29.11.2018 while he was in service, as such, the petitioner being dependant of his late father has filed application to the respondents on 04.11.2019 for grant of compassionate appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the time being the said application may be directed to be decided according to the existing policy of the respondents' Company.
2. A perusal of the documents would show that it is not in dispute that the death of the petitioner's father took place on 29.11.2018 while he was working on Company's Roll. Having died during the course of employment, the application appears to have been filed on 04.11.2019 which is pending consideration. Considering such facts situation, the respondents are directed to decide the
entitlement of the petitioner within a period of 4 months according to the existing norms of the Policy of the respondents' Company.
3. With the above observation/direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
