1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner have been served with notice dated 08.02.2020 (Annexure P-1) wherein he has been informed that he would be superannuated on 31.07.2020. He further submits that the petitioner has given an application for correction of his date of birth in 2011 much prior to Annexure P-1 dated 08.02.2020. It is stated the application for correction of date of birth was not given at the fag end of the service and the same when
was given was forwarded by the department by Annexure P-5 on 17.05.2016. He would further submit that the respondents may be directed to decide such application before date of superannuation i.e. on 31.07.2020.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner may be directed to make a fresh representation.
3. Considering the issue involved, the petitioner is given liberty to make a fresh representation along with all the relevant documents within 2 weeks from today to the respondents, such application so filed the respondents shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
