Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed an appeal against the order of penalty. It is submitted that the appeal has remained pending for the last about 6 months. Till date, it has not been decided. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued for expeditious disposal of petitioner's appeal.

In view of the submission, it would be appropriate to dispose off the petition with direction to respondent to decide petitioner's appeal within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
