This petition has been preferred for a direction to the respondents to grant her benefit of Rule 22-D of the Fundamental Rules, from the date of promotion from the post of UDT to Lecturer with arrears and other consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner is pending consideration, therefore, at this stage, the petitioner confines her prayer for a direction to the respondents to consider and decide her representation.

Learned State counsel would submit that the representation shall be considered in accordance with law.

Considering the limited relief prayed for at this stage, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event, the petitioner prefers fresh representation before the competent authority within a period of one month from today, the said authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, by a speaking order, at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the date of representation.
