Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that petitioner's case for grant of compassionate appointment is pending consideration since 03.05.2017 before the competent authorities and has not been decided till date, therefore, directions may be issued to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the same expeditiously.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2 and 3 are directed to consider and decide the petitioner's case for grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules, regulations and instructions expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
