Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 11/04/2016 This is a petition seeking direction to respondents to consider petitioner's application for extension of route.

It is however found that permit of the petitioner has already expired and it is stated that the application for renewal of permit is pending consideration before the authorities.

In view of above, at this stage, no direction for extension of route can be issued when the permit itself has expired. As and when the permit of the petitioner is renewed for further period, the authorities shall also take up for consideration petitioner's application for extension of route in accordance with the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act and Rules framed thereunder and the same shall also be decided within 60 days from the date of renewal, if any, of the permit.
