1. The Authority under the Payment of Wages Act, Ambikapur passed an order dated 6.12.2001 in favour of respondent No.1 granting wages of Rs.63000/- along with 12% interest. The petitioner was ex-parte, he preferred an appeal against that order before the Industrial Court, Raipur. The Industrial Court by order dated 14.11.2005 dismissed the appeal, against which, this writ petition has been filed.

2. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

3. The Authority under the Payment of Wages Act has granted

wages of Rs.63,000/- along with 12% interest to respondent No.1 holding that respondent No.1 has worked in the premises of the petitioner.

4. I do not find any jurisdictional error in the order impugned passed by the Industrial Court as respondent No.1 is entitled for wages along with interest.

5. In view of above, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to cost(s).
