The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is prolonged disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner. 2.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner was working on the post of Lab Technician and he stood retired from service in April, 2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that while he was in service, in the year 2015 he was subjected to a disciplinary proceeding, which even though the petitioner now stands retired, the same has not been concluded and as a consequence the petitioner's retiral dues have till not been finalized including the pensionary benefits.

Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent authorities in ensuring that the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner is concluded at the earliest preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order or else the respondents should take steps in dropping the disciplinary proceedings if they are unable to conclude the same inspite of all best efforts.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
