1. The limited grievance that the petitioners have in the present writ petition is the non consideration of the petitioners as degree holder candidates by the department and also not including the name of the petitioners as degree holder sub engineer which would enable them to get promotion under the quota reserved for the degree holder.

2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that they have already approached the State Government in-respect-of their dispute by way of a representation, however the same is till date pending consideration.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioners have, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent No. 2 to take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with the law at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
