submits that the impugned order dated 07.12.2016 passed by respondent No.2 i.e. Vice Chancellor, Bastar University, Jagdalpur is appealable before the competent authority. (3) At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to prefer an appeal before the competent authority within a period of four weeks from today. (4) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(5) The petitioner is permitted to prefer an appeal before the competent authority. If such appeal is filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today and, in turn, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law and on its own merit preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of appeal of the petitioner along with copy of this order.

(6) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
