(1) Learned counsel for the State would submit that against the order of Janpad Panchayat, Surajpur terminating the services of the petitioner appeal lies to the General Body, Janpad Panchayat under Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999 (henceforth 'Rules, 1999').

(2) In view of above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, it is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to prefer appeal in accordance with Rules, 1999 before the appellate authority, if so advised.
