1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of suspension dated 04.09.2018.

2. Perusal of the record shows that the order of suspension has been issued under the provisions of Rule 9 of the "Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966". The said order is an appealable order under Rule 23 of the said Rules of 1966.

3. It appears that the petitioner has not preferred an appeal and has straight away filed the present writ petition now after more than 5

-2months from the date of issuance of the suspension order. In view of the same, this Court does not find the writ petition maintainable.

4. Reserving the right of the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Appellate Authority, the present writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
