1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though petitioner herein claimed consideration of his case for promotion on the post of Assistant Foreman with all consequential benefits. Return has been filed by the respondents/SECL stating in paragraph 10 that since petitioner could not secure the qualifying marks, therefore, he is not promoted on the said post. As such, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to ventilate his grievances before the respondent authorities.

2. With the aforesaid liberty reserved in favour of the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
