(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made application to forgo the promotion on the post of Lecturer Panchayat before respondent No.2 i.e. Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Surguja, which is pending consideration before

the respondent No.2, therefore, direction may be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the same, expeditiously.

(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) Be that as it may, respondent No.2- Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Surguja is directed to consider and take a decision on the application of the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
